Who We Are
Suvadra Foundation Nepal (SF-Nepal) is a registered non-governmental organization established in 2006 by a group of dedicated individuals committed to the welfare of children with disabilities. It is registered at the District Administration Office, Bhaktapur, under the Organization Registration Act of Nepal and is affiliated with the Social Welfare Council.
Our main project is Swarga Day Care Centre in Bhaktapur. We provide inclusive education, day care, physiotherapy, skill-based training, and opportunities for meaningful participation, helping children grow with confidence and dignity.
Why We Exist
Children with disabilities in Nepal are often among the most neglected. Many are considered a burden by their families and receive little to no proper care, education, or support.
We founded this organization to give these children better opportunities — filled with care, learning, and the chance to become more self-dependent — while also supporting their families.
Our Approach
We work under the principles of Empowerment, Social Inclusion, and Holistic Development. We focus on creating a supportive environment through day care, education, physiotherapy, and skill-building activities so that children can develop confidence and participate more fully in society.
Our Mission
This organization works for the rights, welfare, and meaningful participation of individuals with disabilities from marginalized and remote communities. It provides inclusive education, health services, skill-based training, and ensures their access to opportunities and rights.
Our Vision
To create a barrier-free environment for children with disabilities to live a dignified, independent, and respectful life.
Objectives
- Providing skill-based training to make children with disabilities self-reliant for inclusive education.
- Offering training on disability-related topics to parents and other individuals.
- Ensuring children with disabilities receive respect and equal participation similar to others.
- Arranging and organizing skill orientation / vocational training programs and cooperating with like-minded organizations for and with persons with disabilities.

At Swarga, every child is accepted as they are. We strive to create a small “heaven” (the meaning of Swarga) on earth — a place of love, care, and hope.
